Derrick Gladney

I just learned of Mr Gladneys passing today . I am so so sorry for your loss .
It was a joy knowing the Gladney family, and watching their children grow while at Cornerstone School in Detroit.
Mr Gladney was always an active dad, participating in everything !! My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this difficult time .

Please know we are keeping you in our prayers. We never met Derrick personally but have been inspired by his heart and fighting spirit through your updates and stories. God bless and keep you all and I know Derrick is now with his Lord and Savior watching down and protecting you from above!!!

Derrick you fought and amazing fight I remember when I first met you at the thdg. You welcomed me and was my buddy from day one, always had a smile and joke ready! I'm going to miss u, but to be absent from the body is too be present with our Lord. May God continue to comfort and bless your family.

Still even today, it just does not seem real that Derrick has transitioned. So use to him being COOL, CALM and Always loving to have a great time. Derrick was a very welcoming individual that I met at JSU. With the laughter and serious conversations as we aspire to better ourselves, Derrick always made everyday goals look easy and interactions steady. I'm proud to have met him miles away from Detroit. Enjoy the unlimited realm of time.

I am still having a hard time with this. I can remember when we met at JSU. The Michigan club baby. Derrick was such a cool cat. We shared many laughs. He will not be forgotten. Great guy. No more suffering or pain. Rest in Ertenal PEACE
