Derrick Henry Obituary
Derrick Henry, 59, sadly passed away on July 29, 2022. Derrick was born on September 14, 1962, to Melvyn and Maria Henry in Brooklyn, NY. He moved to Framingham, MA as a young adult and resided there until his untimely passing.
He was a talented individual and could sketch the most beautiful pictures. He also loved to cook, play music, tell jokes, and live life to its fullest.
Derrick was preceded in death by his father, Melvyn Sr. He is survived by his son, Derrick Jr; mother, Maria; brothers, Melvyn Jr. (Ana) and Mark (Tierna); sisters, Denise, Frances, Cheryl, and Rhonda (Rateek); close cousins, Susy, David, and Elliot; and dearest aunt / second mother, Mariestel. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation at the Cushing Memorial Chapel, 60 Dudley Road, Framingham on Saturday August 6, 2022, from 10:30AM-12PM followed by a funeral service from 12-12:30PM. Interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.

I just found out yesterday the 16th of August a good friend of mine's passed away he always was so kind funny and friendly prayers go out to him and his family and his loved ones

I had the privilege of meeting Derrick and worked along side of him in his journey of life. Dude was mad funny and I’m deeply saddened to hear this news and very disappointed I found out too late to attend the service.

My Best Friend I don’t know what I’m going to do without you. You where the loyalist person I know you were always there for us. You were so aggravating sometimes but that’s what I loved best about you. You had that ability to get me mad one minute and turn around and make me laugh the next.
