I am saddened to hear of the loss of a wonderful person. He was a inspiration to many and many looked up to him. My son looked up to him for his knowledge of soccer, Devon helped coach for a season of the CVSA team which my son played for and all the children loved to see what he could teach them. He will greatly missed by many. FLY HIGH DEVON!!!!

I met Devon just a short time ago..very briefly..but I am forever touched by his spirit. My deepest sympathy to his family..you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

We were so proud to have Devon as a guest at our Syracuse Mens Basketball Game(Providence) last spring.Our coaches and players enjoyed his visit to our practice. We were so impressed with the support of his friends and family. He will always be special to us. Devon you will always be in our thoughts. Coach Boeheim and the Mens basketball family.

RIP Devon-my heart breaks for your family-you sure fought a tough battle-I never knew you personally but my grandkids did as they went to Watkins for a couple of years. I have followed with the benefits and etc since you were first diagnosed. I am so sorry to read this-I was so hoping he would be able to overcome this-May God bless you DEVON and your family as well as the whole community who rallied around you.
