DeVon Simon Obituary
8/28/1934 -12/11/2024
DeVon Allen Simon, age 90 of Lebanon, TN passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024. DeVon was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Galen and Etta Simon.
Devon was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Carol Eicher Simon, his son Mark Simon, and his brother Wayne Simon.
He is survived by his other son Michael Simon (Mike). He was a loved gramps to his grandchildren, Holly Simon, Jordan Simon, Jack Simon, Greta Simon, Victor Simon, Susie Simon and James Simon.
DeVon graduated from North Side High School in Ft. Wayne and University of Indiana School of Business.
He a had long career with Oscar Mayer as a V.P. of Sales Promotion during which he moved his family to many wonderful cities and states. He continued his career with Conagra Food Group and Bongrain Cheese Company until retirement.
DeVon played tennis and golf through out his life along with camping with his family.
DeVon and Carol spent 21 years in Venice, Florida during their retirement. DeVon enjoyed golf, the beach, and sunsets.

Mike, your parents were good friends of ours in Venice. We lived around the corner from them. We traveled to Italy with them which was on her bucket list. We had many great times with them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jordan. Cheryl and AlanAkers
