Ron and I had the privilege of meeting Bro. Leonard years ago when he pastored the Delton church. He was a special man with a wonderful wife and house full of kids. In more recent years we were privileged to pastor him and Sis. Leonard while at Altavista. We wept together as we said goodbye to Sis. Ellen and the precious children that have passed. Goodbye Bro.Leonard, your battle is over and the victory is won!

Bro Leonard was a wonderful man of God and I was honored that he served as my pastor while he pastored in Staunton VA. He was a happy man who loved God, loved his wife Ellen and his sheep he pastored. He always seemed to have a smile and I know it is indeed Heaven's gain. God bless his family at this time. Kind Regards and prayers, Melinda Kay

I have so many fond memories going to church in Winfall and listening to Preacher Leonard's messages as a teenager. I was privileged to become friends with his daughters and spent many nights in his house. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sorry to hear of Bro Leonard's passing. Will be praying for all of the family and friends and so appreciate all the years of faithful service he gave in the state of Va in ministry and mentoring many who will continue the message of Christ .I was one of those people that he helped me get started in Evangelism. He will be missed.
