What a great man, I remamber him tuning my mothers piano when I was a child. God Bless George, Richard, David and the rest of his family.

This is a hard door for me to close. It goes back into my childhood, and my home and so many of my memories. Dexter's music meant so much to me and my family and friends. I remember him from my living room, where he tuned my piano, and to my mother's delight, and mine, played our violin, delighted to get into the classics. I remember him from his friend, Frank Brown's community orchestra, in which we were both members, and I remember him in later years, when I went to his shop and he invited me to play a beautiful Steinway grand that he was servicing giving me a wonderful thrill. He could play any kind of music, and his friends were overflowing. Thank God for his part in our lives. Frances Johnson/ Mains, formerly of Westbrook
