With profound sorrow, the family of Diamond Taylor Harvey announces her unexpected passing on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 27.
Born on November 14, 1997, in Gary, Indiana, Diamond was the beloved daughter of Donny Harvey and Quiana Bailey-Harvey and the second eldest of four siblings. She grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, and graduated from Crete-Monee High School in 2016. With determination and a strong work ethic, she became a valued United Auto Workers (UAW) member at Ford Motor Company, where she took great pride in her career and inspired those around her.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Diamond's true joy was found in the things that made her heart sing-her deep love for music, her passion for travel, and, most of all, the time spent with her family and friends. Her infectious laughter, generous heart, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Diamond is lovingly remembered by her parents, Donny Harvey and Quiana Bailey-Harvey; her cherished siblings, Londyn and Brooklyn Harvey; and many family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donny Harvey. In her final moments, she was surrounded by love, passing away in the presence of her special friend, Jamari Stigler.
A private service for immediate family will be held, and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
The family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Though Diamond is no longer with us in body, her light will forever shine in our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Diamond. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
