Diana was organized, focused, generous, kind, talented, and gracious. She wrote beautifully and powerfully. She sent long funny thank you cards.

Diana chaired the UUJME-MA (UU's for Justice in the Middle East- Massachusetts) for several years and hosted our team retreat at her house on the Cape. We worked hard and productively, cooked and ate together, and danced!

For many years, three times a year she edited (and wrote a lot of the copy) a professional multiple page UUJME (national) newsletter. It was packed with information and colorful photos - it was a good read and beautiful.

Diana was serious, dug deep in collaborative conversations, and was dedicated to learning and teaching about the plight of Palestinians and how our country enables it. She pursued justice. And she was FUN! In her last texts, she asked if i'd seen the Elvis movie - she wrote she was dying to see it. I replied i hope she didn't mean that literally. Her last text, "any kind of humor always helps. Not to worry. "

So i guess i shouldn't worry. I do miss her though. And i am so very grateful for having known this lovely bright star and for the time we spent together.
