"There is only one happiness in life....to love and be loved."
Although I did not know Diana, I can tell from all the loving messages she was a very special person. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michele (Milot) and Pat Dreher, the rest of the Milot family and Diana's friends. May she rest in peace.

Diane, I hope you've found the bright side of the moon and you are dancing again. Even though I never met you face to face I feel we were friends. You helped me so much during some really rough times in my life and I will always remember you because this. I will miss you.

The Moon Goddess danced
On the bright side of the moon
Filled with joy and happiness
Unaware of the coming storm
That would stop the music
The distant storm gathered
And quickly crept towards her
So quickly it took her by surprise
And she cried out to the Sun God
What should I do?
But he ignored her plea
Abandoned and betrayed her
As the bright side of the moon
Turned dark and she was left alone
She no longer heard the music
All she could do was remember
What was and no longer remained
Because now there was only silence
And the joy and happiness
Were covered in tears
The Moon Goddess fell to her knees
Devastated in her loss she grieved
And for a time she couldn’t move
Her tears had frozen into the past
And as they fell they shattered
Finally she looked up and saw
She wasn’t alone at all
The stars and planets had come
To share their strength
And to sing their songs
And to her surprise
The Sun God had sent them
He had never really left
She had just forgotten
That the moon has two sides
And Moon Goddess danced again
(Written for Diane in Dec 03 by me after she told me her name ment Moon Goddess)

Didi...you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. You were a great friend, and godmother and auntie. We will forever hold you in our hearts. Until we meet again, keep that rocking chair warm and the "DIDI COFFEE" on.

I have always cherished our childhood memories. The songs we created, the laughter we shared. I feel sad we never spoke, time fades away. I thought of Diane so much. She was a great part of my life, my memories. I wish I could have told her we were so young too many years ago. My sincerest sympathy to all of Dianes friends and family. I know she will be sadly missed.

They say as you go through life, you meet people who give you a meaning of why we’re really here. Diana was one of those people to me. She was a person who had a glow within that radiated out and made you feel nothing but love for her. Diana had this giggle that I can still hear. She was a great sister-in-law, who was there when you needed her. She loved my girls very much, and helped Michele in bring them up, while I was away working. And for all she gave, she asked for nothing in return. I believe that we are here for a purpose. And when our purpose is done, God says, “Hey I have another job for you”. And it’s time to go. Diana’s time on earth is done, but her spirit will live in each and every one of us who knew her. As for Diana’s new life, I know she will touch the hearts of whoever she meets.

Though I hadn't seen Diana in years, she left an imprint on my life that I will never forget.
Her joy brought me joy. I am forever grateful to you Diana for your steadfastness, integrity and loyalty as my best friend in the tumultuous tides of childhood.
Thank you for your life and may you find peace always.
With love,
Janet Hays

I am so saddened to hear of Diana's passing. I haven't seen her in a few years but will always remember the great laughs we shared in High School and everywhere else. This was many years ago but we used to have amazing debates/arguements, and never got upset with each other - not once - we would just laugh about it all. My prayers go out to her family and will continue for Diana. Diana (Diane) was such good friend to me growing up. I know I will see her again in Heaven one day.

I will miss Diana terribly. She was a kind soul and a guardian angel and a true friend. I truly believe she has found peace. She will be missed more than she knows.
All my love and condolences to the Milot family.

My condolences go out to Colleen, Jane and family.
Diana was my most loving Aunt. We managed to stay connected and really get to know eachother. We shared many hours on the telephone; talking, sharing, listening to music, laughing and crying. Christmas was extra special last year because she came over to spend some time and share some food. I will deeply miss her. She was my friend. She struggled in pain but always had her sense of humour and her compassionate wisdom. I guess she just wanted peace and to be out of pain. I had no idea she would leave so fast. There's so much more I wanted to do with her. I am left here to mourn a soul I loved.
I send my love and prayers to everyone who feels this loss. I will remember her laughter, most of all. I will miss her terribly.
She was far too young to leave us.

I remember Diana as Peter and Bobbie's lively little sister when we lived on 10a st. I am sad to hear of her passing. Her time here was too short.

How little in me is not touched by you!
A friendship is a light that fills the heart,
Painting with its gold each darkened hue,
Providing warmth to each sequestered part.
You are the mirror of my better self,
Verifier of the best in me,
A bridge across the unsuspected gulf
Lodged between what can and ought to be.
Expectations can be wings, not bars,
Necessary to sustain our flight.
The faith of friends in us is wholly ours,
Incoming to uplift us to its height.
No soul can see itself, but must depend,
Each on each, upon a trusted friend.
You were a best friend to me,
I will remember you for all eternity.

This isn't about the business.
This isn't about the business
This is about the fun, the laughter,
once resounding and full of life,
now silent, but never forgotton.
This isn't about the business.
This is about our Di, who was really great and talented,
delivering far more smiling, laughing and smart,
wakng down that steep decline.
This isn't about the business, now.
Good bye my friend, you go to the good peep's place.
We love you Diana.
