Diane Bell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 29 to Jul. 2, 2023.
Bell, Diane
Diane Jean Bell (Rutkosky) of Las Vegas NV, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI
was reunited with her husband David, in the loving embrace of Jesus on June 21, 2023, a date significant as their 65th wedding anniversary. Diane is survived by her children Laura (David) Nawrot, Lisa (Patrick) Berends, Mark (Lisa) Bell, all of Michigan, and Michael (Joan) Bell of Las Vegas NV. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two siblings; Marilyn Orlowski, and Lloyd (Kathy) Rutkosky, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff and many special friends she had while living in her apartment at Revel in Summerlin, NV.
Diane lived a full life in Michigan, Colorado, and most recently Nevada. She relished time spent in nature walking or watching her beloved birds, especially hummingbirds at the feeders. She was an avid reader, a love she passed down to her children, and was also known for her knitted afghans and slippers.
Diane loved animals and showered her pets with affection. She was a strong supporter of Dumb Friends League, an animal shelter in Colorado.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be scheduled at a future date.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to:
