Diane L. Coffland

Diane Lorene Coffland age 59 entered eternal rest on June 29, 2024.

Diane was born July 22, 1964 to Lola and R.Gary Coffland in Lewiston Idaho. Diane attended school in Lapwai Idaho. After graduation she attended College of Southern Idaho earning a degree in nursing and became a mom to her beautiful daughter Jolyn. Many aspects of her career brought her joy and notoriety. Some of her more enjoyable accomplishments were teaching entrance to medical careers - ROTC, Nursing at Pelican Bay prison, Managing drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Diane had a special love for the elderly and veterans that reached the spans of her lifetime. She enjoyed the simple pleasure of taking them to appointments, doing their hair or holding a hand as someone passes from this world to the next, saying "No one should die alone." Her gentle touch in these areas will be missed.

Diane had many hobbies. She was an avid reader of many different genre. She enjoyed various crafts, listing to music and letting people be themself around her without judgment. She was and avid supporter of woman's rites, LGBT, and equal rights for all. Diane was most at peace near the ocean.

Diane is proceeded in death by both parents R.Gary and Lola. She is survived by Molly (Dan) Tucker, Ron (Laura) Coffland, Amy (Andy) Rosch, Randy (Dorthea) Skalick, Jolyn (Tyler) Posey, Grandchildren Spencer and Kieran Posey, Trent Davis and Liam Davis, many nieces and nephews, countless extended family who she considered brothers, sisters and children.
