Diane....we'd been friends for 20 years. I think your wife's/ mother's/daughter's/sister's most important goal in life was to laugh. She was good at that!
No matter where we were you can bet we were laughing and having a grand time.
F-U-N! That was Diane. I remember when she first insisted that I call her 'Diane', and not 'Mrs. Creed'. At first it wasn't easy, not "back then", as we were taught to respect our 'elders', but then it became simple:
She wasn't just Kim's mom anymore, she was my very good friend too.
Understanding, supportive, unconditional, trusting and a cheerleader.
I learned plenty from her, especially to enjoy your friends, simple moments and, to give to others.
What a mom.
What a woman.
What a friend.
She truly has taught many people some great life lessons during the time that she was here on Earth.
I am so sad for your loss.
I celebrate that she is in the Perfect Place.

Skip: I am so sorry for your loss. We were school mates and friends in the 50's. All these years and we probably crossed paths with each other on few occasions, maybe a AHHS reunion. At any rate Jan & I express our condolences at this difficult time. May God continue to bless you and your family.
