Diane Dixon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 11, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family of Diane, L. Dixon announce her passing on November 6, 2024, at the age of 64.

Diane daughter of Robert and Edith Conway, was born in Barberton Ohio on November 11, 1959. She was one of 5 siblings and a devoted sister to each of them. She resided in WV for most of her childhood and early adulthood. In 1981 she welcomed her daughter Nikki into the world. One of her greatest joys was being a mother. In 1993 she moved to VA. It was here that she found the love of her life and best friend, Bo. They were married on June 30th, 1996. Not only did this mark the beginning of a long, loving and devoted marriage but she became a mother of 3, fulfilling her dream of a larger family. She was a grandmother of 4 and some of her happiest moments were those spent with her grandchildren.

She deeply touched the lives of those she loved. Diane was a born caregiver and happiest when she was doing for others. With the addition of every child, grandchild, niece, nephew and their children her heart grew, making room for each and every one to feel special and loved. She was the person you called that would drop everything to be there for you and see you through hard times. All those she shared her life with have their own unique story of her love, dedication and the light she brought into their lives. It is in each of their hearts and memories that her light may continue to shine forevermore.

A memorial service will be held at W J Smith & Son Funeral Home located at 210 Harpersville Rd in Newport News on November 16th at 11:00.

Diane leaves behind her husband Bo; children Nikki (Jason) Sypolt, Tiffany Dixon, Sean (Meagan) Dixon; grandchildren Cheyanne and Jaxon Sypolt, Rylan Koch, Eliot Emmerson; sisters, Sherry (Charlie) Ballard, Debbie Santrock and Lisa Reeder.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith Conway; brother Bob Conway; sister in-law Debbie Conway.
