Diane Duncan Obituary
Diane was born in Charlotte, NC on May 22, 1945 to the late Ivan and Leona Duncan, and her big brother Wayne. Diane graduated from Garinger High School and married "the boy from down the street" Gary Duncan in 1963.
Diane was an insurance agent for 45 years, closing out her career after 22 years at State Farm in 2010.
Diane was an incredibly proud mama, mamaw, and memaw who embraced every generation of her family with love and gentle strength. She cherished the little things - being home with a good book, baking up a storm in her kitchen, and sharing countless stories while perusing old photo albums with her family.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her children, Randy Duncan and Cheryl Duncan, and husband Roger Davis, brother Wayne Duncan, sister-in-law Judy Duncan, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, niece, great-niece.
Diane is reunited in peace with her parents Ivan and Leona, her husband Gary, her brother-in-law Dennis and sister-in-law Eulalia, and her nephew Daren.

So sorry to hear about Diane's recent passing. Her mom and dad Ivan and Leona were members of Belmont Park UMC where my family went as well as being a fireman ( my dad was a fireman too) and Diane and I both went to Garinger HS. Diane worked for many years for our mutual friend Dave Watson (he always sung her praises as being the best asst. anyone could have!) So to say we went back a long way is very true! She was not only smart but such a sweet person and will be missed by many I know! Prayers for the family as they deal with both losses!
