Diane Still Durbin

Diane and I met as fellow school librarians. We collaborated on various projects to support all types of libraries. I was at a conference and was thinking about her and learned of her passing. Diane was an exemplary librarian with much passion for her profession. We will miss her.

I volunteered in the Stafford School Library with Diane for many years. She worked hard to make sure there were books available to meet the needs of all students. She also made many trips to Austin to meet with legislators and advocate in support of school libraries. I will miss her sharp wit and friendship.
