Diane M. Frey

York - Diane Marie (Glass) Frey, 49, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. She was the daughter of Warren and Peggy (Krise) Glass of Dover. Diane is survived by her two daughters, Caitlyn M. Frey and Courtney L. Frey (and her fiancé, Ronald Cline) of York.

Born December 30, 1968 in Johnstown, Diane was a resident of York most of her life. Diane worked in the banking industry for many years, and most recently People's Bank. Diane took an active interest in her daughters' pursuits, having served as a coach for many sports that the girls were involved in. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, York. Diane was a devoted and loving mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to the beach and crafting. Diane always took the time to put a smile on others' face.

Diane is survived by the father of her children, Jodd L. Frey of York; four brothers, Jeff Glass of Lexington, MA, Ken Glass of Dover, Dan Glass and his wife, Susan of York and Mark Glass and his wife, Lisa of Dover; and a sister, Kathy Glass of York. In addition, Diane leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Eric Glass.

As a generous organ donor, Diane donated her organs to the "Gift of Life Foundation".

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York. A viewing will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market Street, York, and a visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
