Diane Vivian Hanson (1948-2024)

Diane Vivian Hanson, age 75, of Simi Valley, California, departed this life on January 27, 2024. Born on August 13, 1948, in Kearney, Nebraska, she was a woman of devout faith and loving devotion to her family.

Throughout her life, Diane's actions were a reflection of her unwavering commitment to her beliefs. She found great solace in the teachings of the Bible, dedicating herself to the study of its wisdom and the practice of prayer. Her family was the center of her world, and she instilled in them the importance of faith and the value of each precious moment together.

Diane is lovingly remembered by her husband, Timothy; her children, Darrin (married to Lola) and Jennifer (married to Mark); her grandchildren, Emma (married to Dalen), Baylee, Caleb, and Roland; and her great-grandchild, Ruby. Her sister, Sylvia Popp, also survives her. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Daniel and Beatrice Arellano, and her brother, Eli Arellano.

The family extends an invitation to friends and relatives to join them in a service commemorating Diane's life on April 13, 2024 at 10:00 Westlawn-Hillcrest located in Omaha, Nebraska with a light lunch to follow.

The memory of Diane Vivian Hanson will be eternally cherished by those who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, kindness, and devout faith will endure in the hearts of her loved ones.

Diane always knew how to make me smile. She accepted for who I was and loved me anyway. When I first met her I remember her saying she wanted to be a prayer warrior. She definitely did. I loved listening to her. Rest in peace with our glorious Father. Not good bye but see you soon.
