She was full of energy joy beauty laughter and passion. I was blessed to meet her when my long time colleague and director Martha Coolidge introduced us.Laura is so much like her gifted loving Mother. Prayers to Heaven where Diane is singing and dancing and acting with the angels.

So sorry for your loss. She was an amazing inspiration and wonderful humanitarian. I will never forget her and all the memories I had watching her incredible films. RIP Diane. We love and miss you.

I am so sorry to learn of Ms Ladd´s death, Our Prayers go out to her Daughter and Family. I remember her well when she visited Pine Bluff Arkansas to tour Martha Mitchell´s Birth Place and Home, she spent the night so she could visit with Martha´s High School
Classmates, and Friends. She wanted a movie to be made about Martha Beall Mitchell. And even mention she could be Martha´s Mother and Lauren could play Martha.
She was such a nice friendly lady, and all of our exchanges over the years,
She let us know she was so thankful that I had Restored Ms Mitchell´s Home and turn it into a Museum. Just a few weeks before her death, she express how thankful she was that we had saved the 1886 Home.
A super nice Southern Lady, And we at Pine Bluff will miss her deeply.

My family and I would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Diane Ladd. She was a lady with a sense of humor and grace not only on stage but also the big screen. She touched the lives of many. She was a mother, a grandmother, and a sister. There's no doubt that she will be missed by all who knew her personally and professionally. It's times like this when we lose someone, we love that life can be not only a challenge but also difficult to bear.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Diane Ladd. I loved her in Alice (both the movie and the TV show) and as Clark's mom in Christmas Vacation. With Diane's passing, I believe Celia Weston is sadly now the only surviving Alice cast member. Sending thoughts and prayers to Laura Dern and the rest of Diane's family and friends. I worked in the David O. Russell film JOY with this remarkable woman back in March 2015 (it was stealthily called "Kay´s Baptism" while we were filming). She and I got along splendidly; she said, "It´s as if we´ve been long lost friends, knowing each other for years!" I had a ball talking to her about growing up in the South, asking about her daughter and grandchildren, and just overall working with her. I hugged her and said goodbye at the end of the day. She warmed my heart. I pray that you are asleep in the Lord, Ms. Diane Ladd, and that I will see you again in the Saviour´s Everlasting Arms! Rest in Peace Michele L. Egerton
