As the time passes, I think of Diane with such feelings of loss, and sadness. Yes, I'm glad she didn't have to suffer any longer than she did... and her family endured that pain for way too long. I love you Diane, and you'll always be in my heart. xoxo

Dear Lealdon, Aaron and Melissa,

What can I say that you have not heard over and over again from your dear friends and family. So many people loved Diane. Because I've lived in Florida for almost 30 years, I regret that I did not get to know you both better. From what I recall, Diane was a wonderful person, as a mother, parent, daughter-in-law and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Fifty is much too young to leave her loved ones. Only the body is gone. Memories of her will live on into eternity with the help of you and your family. May G-d give you the strength to carry on in the years to come.

Dear Lealdon, Aaron and Melissa --

One of the most special, caring, intelligent, and dear people that we ever met was Diane -- your beloved Wife and Mother. Her warm, kind, loving, intelligent and passionate nature was obvious from the first that we each met Diane. Equally apparent was the strong love and adoration she had for each of you!! We hope that the love you shared and the many wonderful memories will give you some comfort at this time. And, as the days go by, may the loss you now feel be lessened by the surprising presence that Diane will continue to have in your every day lives. For the ones we love truly never pass from our lives. In the meantime, please allow your family, friends and colleagues to comfort and support you, as best we can. With great love and sympathy for all the Langleys and Schachters, Susan and Ed

Dear Inez, Bill & Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I truly wish I had the right words to say...I do pray that you are surrounded by people who love you and with that may you find some comfort. I'm so glad I got to see you and Diane at the reunion this year...you and Bill are such loving parents...I could sense that when I was there....as could everyone else I'm sure. I admire your strength and if there's anything I can do, even a small thing I'm here if you need me.
Love Always,
Michele Schoudel

Dear Ines, Bill, Lealdon, Aaron & Melissa,

Words can’t express how deeply saddened we are about your loss. Diane was a special woman with amazing bravery and a beautiful spirit. She was taken away much too young and we can only pray that your special memories will help you endure this painful time. Our love and support are with you.

Dear Family,
My heart weeps with you at the passing of our dear Diane. Although I have not seen her since we were teens, I remember her as a tender-hearted young woman with beauty and brains. I also have never forgotten her birthday of July 1, 1957; she was one year my junior. I pray you can find comfort in our G-d who comforts, and know that she leaves an enduring legacy in her precious children.
With love,
Audrey (Pickholz) Sandford

Dear Lealdon,

I was thinking of you last night as I was driving home and thinking of how, unbeknownst to you and me, we were connected long before we met. You from Pine Bluff, and me from OKC, and our families meet here in Sharon. Connections both with me through John Grigsby and with Sandy through her family who owned the paper. Ben was talking last night of how Aaron is one of a very few number of friends who actually knows Bekki. We have known each other for 8 and a half years. Our boys have played together since kindegarten. Ben also talked about having a really good day yesterday and then learning at the end of the day of Diane's passing. He talked of how this was one of his best and worst days at the same time. I reminded him of Charoset and Maror and how we have always the bitter and sweet. I don't have any way of lessening the loss and hurt, but I can offer my thoughts and prayers to be with you and your family.
