Happy Birthday Diane
January 26th 2020.

January 27, 2020

On January 25, 2020 Diane would have turned 70 years old. She is my sister and I still miss her so much. The sadness and pain have not even started to heal.
Reading all the entries, especially her childhood Barbra, bring tears to my eyes to know she was loved and not forgotten.
She's forever in my heart.
Love you so much sis!

Its 2019, my heart goes out to my Uncle Frank and everyone who knew Diane. My sincere apologies for not attending the funeral as I was wrenched by Aunt Dianes passing. I remember when I was young, going to movies, Ottawa exhibition and the Lisles cottage. I remember Aunt Diane pulling a bright yellow BMX bike from the back of her Fire Bird for me. We always had fun her and I. Later on in years, I moved back and fourth, living at Frank and Dianes house. Times in need of a place to transition or a place to call home. When I lived there, coming through the door and she was awaiting my arrival from the mall, she always greeted me with a pleasant smile and the phrase Whatcha buy me? I bought her treats and Aunt Diane always made sure I had lots of food to eat.
I miss her company, her contagious smile and her optimism. She was like a second mom to me and considered me as the son Frank and Diane never had together. My Aunt Diane showed me the things in life are too precious to sit and dwell on and I need to live life to enjoy every moment.
In closing, I miss her every day and sometimes hear that small voice in the background saying, I love you Danny.

To Diane's Family...
I grew up with Diane on Rex Avenue in Ottawa,
and just now found her obituary and was very sad to read that she had passed away.
I will always have fond memories of our
childhood, and things we did together.
Condolences.

Dear Frank
It's hard to believe a year has gone by since Diane left us. They say, time heals everything, but for me with time I miss her more andorr each day. A broken heart is a broken heart I'll miss her forever.
