Larry Tripp Obituary

Survivors include one daughter, Dharma Kay Tripp; one son, Hoyt Doyle Tripp; parents, Jan Tripp of Niota, Ill. and Larry (Ann) Tripp of Niota, Ill.; two brothers, Josh (Theresa) Tripp of Burlington, and Damon (Jessica) Tripp of Colusa, Ill. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Jim was a 1989 graduate of Dallas City High School he then graduated from Southeastern Community College. He was a correctional officer at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, farming, baseball, riding four wheelers, archery and most of all, spending time with family and friends. He loved his children and loved coaching their sporting events.

His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz - Banks & Beals for cremation.

Friends may call 12-5 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Schmitz - Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo.

The family will receive friends 9-11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Schmitz - Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Schmitz - Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo, with Pastor Mark Anderson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in his memory for his children's education or Friends of Henderson County Wildlife.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.sbbfuneralhome.com. Schmitz - Banks & Beals Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
