Diane D. Muth, 76, passed away on November 26, 2022 in Springhouse, PA. Wife of the late Sherman Muth, the couple had celebrated 38 years of marriage upon his passing in 2017. Together, they loved traveling to country music shows. Before she retired, Diane worked as a file clerk for Harleysville Insurance. Diane was an avid athlete that triple lettered in varsity sports: field hockey, basketball and softball while attending Souderton High School. Diane cherished her family, showed compassion to those in need and had a strong faith in the Lord. She took pride and comfort delivering Meals on Wheels to residents at her retirement community at Schwenkfelder’s Terrace and Manor.
Born in Sellersville, PA, Diane was a daughter of the late William and Naomi (Keller) Derstine and was the eldest of 10 children. Diane was married to the late Linwood Walton Derstine, the father of her children. Diane is survived by her daughter, Sherri Lynn Hawk from Centennial, CO with Grand Children Bren, Brittany, and Tyler, and son, Kyle Derstine from Walnut Creek, CA with Grand Children Bennett and Brooklyn.
Diane was the sister of Glenn Derstine, Leah Miller, Joyce Nace, Janet Richbourg, Paul Derstine, Linda Oughton, Randy Derstine, Karen Derstine, and David Derstine. Diane is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews and twenty-two great nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by stepchildren Cindy Naney of Geff, IL, Donna Hamrick of Williamsburg, VA, Charlotte Rodriguez of York, PA, Sherman Muth Jr. of Rinard, IL, and Charles Muth of Fredericksburg, VA. In addition to her husband, Diane is predeceased by stepdaughter, Sheila Patterson.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00AM on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home. 33 N. Main Street. Telford, PA. 18969. Family will receive friends from 10-11AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

My thoughts and prayers for Diane’s family. She spoke of you all so often with such love. Her sweet spirit was always evident when she served meals on wheels to the residents at Schwenkfeld Manor. I will always remember her fondly.
