Neubauer, Diane 87 Dec. 27, 1926 Feb. 10, 2014 Diane Neubauer, age 87, of Hillsboro, passed away Feb. 10, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Mollie and Samuel Ehrlich. Diane will be remembered as being an elegant, beautiful and intelligent woman. She graduated from Forest Hills High School in Queens, N.Y., and studied at Queens College. She remarried in 1966 to Dr. Emory Neubauer, who was the love of her life and preceded her in death. Together they played golf and tennis and traveled to Europe, Mexico and Israel. She was an excellent bridge player, loved reading books and watching movies. She was an avid tennis player for 25 years, playing through her 70s. She resided in Boca Raton, Fla., for almost 30 years until moving to Hillsboro three years ago to live closer to her daughter. She resided in her own apartment at The Springs at Tanasbourne. She is survived by her children from her first marriage, Ross Selinger of Port Washington, N.Y., Mark Selinger of Florida and Stacy Metzger of Forest Grove; and five grandchildren. A memorial is planned for June.
