Diane Nielsen

Centerville - Diane (Pawley) Nielsen passed away on October 25th peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband Paul of 67 years, and they were blessed with 3 loving and supportive daughters: Karen of Clearwater, FL, Christine (Don) Nardo of Hyannis and Erica of Hyannis. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene & Genieve Pawley and sister Arleen Rancourt. She was a graduate of Emmanuel College and spent most of her working career doing what she loved as a librarian in Milton, Weymouth, W. Yarmouth, ending at Sturgis Library for 18 years. In retirement she worked part time at Centerville Library. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish choir and a Eucharistic Minister. She was a ravenous reader and enjoyed knitting for family, friends and various non-profit organizations and was a member of the Thursday Knitting Group at Centerville Library.

A Memorial Mass will be held at OLV on Friday, November 7th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centerville Library, 585 Main St., Centerville, or OLV Parish, 230 S. Main St., Centerville 02632
