What a wonderful tribute you have written for Diane, Bill.
She was such a great friend. She made me feel like we always knew each other and had been friends forever. I loved the twinkle in her eye and the way she liked to tease, especially Bill. She loved to laugh so there was always lots of laughter when we were together. I will miss our many dinners supporting the numerous events she would invite us to.
She was so thoughtful and generous. I remember when I was about to become a grandmother, she took me out to dinner to celebrate and presented me with a HUGH Grandma Bag. It was full of all kinds of baby things. I was fully supplied for when my baby (and later babies) came to visit. When she came to one of our grandbabies showers I commented on the abundance of gifts she gave my daughter. She said they were all so cute she couldn't decide, so she just grabbed everything on the rack.
I loved working with her on her home renovations. I knew we would be creating something wonderful. She always knew what she wanted and the end result was tasteful, and beautiful. We are currently in the process of renovating her two bathrooms. For which she insisted on ordering everything to be there in advance so there would be delays once we got started. I am sure she will be watching from Heaven to make sure we get it just right.
She loved the Word of God so we had many conversations about our faith and new revelations from certain Prophets and teachers that we both liked to listen to. I will definitely miss those times.
Diane you added so much richness to our life in faith, family and friendships. Geoff and I will miss you dearly.
Love and Hugs to you Bill.

Bill (and John), Ann and I cannot adequately express our love for you and Diane. You have been constant friends to us and our kids though we have lived far apart since 1984 (when Diane helped us pack and unpack, and you drove the UHaul truck on the July long weekend.)
Diane's whacky escapades are too numerous to write here, but among the memorable ones for us are when she picked up our daughter Charmy (about age 10), put her over her shoulder, marched across the street, opened a neighbour's door, dumped Charmy inside and closed the door.
Or the many times she played tricks on Ann when they were both accompanists at Lakewood Alliance Church, such as quietly tying Ann's sash to the organ bench or stealing the shoe she had removed from her expression pedal foot.
This world has lost and heaven gained a true one-of-a-kind force to be reckoned with.

Mr Roger´s and family, I´m so sorry to hear of your loss. Mrs Rogers was a support teacher for my gr.8/9 Home Ec class at Cedars Christian School many years ago. This beautiful tribute is so befitting of her. I can understand that she will be deeply missed because she connected so fully with everyone she talked to and anything she did. God has not left you to walk this journey alone, He is always near. May His comfort and peace continually encourage you.

Dear Bill
With you we are saddened by the loss of a wonderful lady.
Over the years we experienced her kind hospitality in your home which was always over the top. You both took us in like family.
As for her faith, it was strong and steady.
I had the honour of working with her on the hospital board. Here is a lady that covered the bases plus. All who knew Diane will miss her greatly.
Looking forward to that great reunion day. "Until then", as the old song said it well; "with joy we'll carry on".
Grace and comfort to all who are close to you.

Dear Bill:
Heather and I send our heartfelt condolences to you in this time of deep pain and loss.
Diane was a very special woman, and I enjoyed my friendship with her very much during the 11 years I directed Ness Lake Bible Camp and during the 10 years since I left Prince George. Diane was always encouraging and supportive, and I enjoyed visiting with her at the office or on the phone over the past 20+ years. I appreciated Diane´s quick wit, her laughter, and her genuine interest in what was going on in my life.
You and Diane were a great team, and together you impacted the community in significant ways through a multitude of means.
May God give you strength and peace as He walks along side you.
Love, Paul & Heather

I was saddened today to hear of Diane's passing. She was a wonderful person and, in the years I spent with the healthcare foundation in Prince George, Diane was always one of our most supportive Board members. I feel privileged to have known her and consider her as a friend. My condolences go out to her husband Bill and the many people who have lost a dear friend.

I remember Diane´s spirit and sense of humour when she was subbing at our school. When she was in for a male teacher on parental leave, she hid diapers in his desk and textbooks. She was a force of nature.
