Diane Salvatori Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 25, 2023.
Diane Salvatori's first breaths were taken during a blizzard on February 20th, 1964 in Paterson, NJ. Throughout her life she did her best as a daughter, wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Her generous spirit and welcoming demeanor warmed your heart and eased your mind, while her confidence inspired you. She supported many on their paths in life, and finally blazed her own way in her 40s. After obtaining her Masters Degree in education and teaching for many years, Diane was able to retire. She believed that the cure for anything was salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea.

Her last breaths were on September 29th, 2023 on the coast of South Carolina. She joins her parents, Lino and Mary Salvatori. She is survived by her husband, David Aguanno of Little Silver, SC and aunt, Marion Trentacoste of Parsippany, NJ. Her daughters DeAnna and Alyssa Vecchio cherish the memories of their "mommy" and encourage others to memorialize her by volunteering their time to support a children or women's organization.

I knew Diane in St. Paul's School in New Jersey. Our daughters were friends and we worked together on many fundraising committees. Diane worked tirelessly for the betterment of the school and as part of our church community. We were friends during those years but went our separate ways when our children went to different high schools although they stayed long distance friends Rest in peace Diane
