Diann Watson Obituary
She was born Nov. 30, 1940 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Dino and ValJean Wingerd Duchi.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School and St. Francis Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She worked at Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital and later worked for Community Nurses for 25 years.
On Aug. 28, 1965 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg, she married Charles B. Watson Jr., who survives.
Diann was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and she loved to knit slippers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Renee Watson of Millville, New Jersey; three sons, Charles B. Watson III (Jean) of Allison Park, Michael A. Watson (Lisa) of St. Marys and Duane P. Watson (Valerie) of St. Marys; four grandchildren, Alex Watson, Blake Watson, Haiden Watson and Parker Watson; four step-grandchildren, Sheldon Miller, Eithen Miller, Amanda Harris and Rachel Harris; a sister, Dena Casciani (John) of Maineville, Ohio; and two nieces, Cheryl and Barbara Casciani.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Diann M. Watson will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Community Nurses, Inc., 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys, Pa. 15857 or to the Hahne Regional Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, Pa. 15801.

I remember how much she loved making good food and sharing recipes, baseball and organizing the world series pools, but what I'll NEVER forget is her laugh and beautiful smile. Will miss you Dear Friend. Have fun with Shirley up there.
