Diann J. West (Adamik) passed away on July 12, 2023 (79).

She was born January 25, 1944 in Walhonding, Ohio. Diann moved to Akron to raise her family and worked for many years and retired from Ohio Edison/First Energy as a transportation specialist. She was proud to have led the Task Force to update and computerized all vehicle purchases and maintenance for First Energy.

After retirement, Diann moved to Michigan, spending time in the winter in Sarasota, Florida. She later moved to Sarasota fulltime, before returning to Michigan the last year of her life. One of her favorite places to visit was Paris but she loved traveling to many countries all over the world.

Diann was preceded by her husband of 44 years, John West Jr., her parents Steve and Ester Adamik and her brothers Steve Adamik and David Adamik.

She was survived by her two children, John West III (Katrina) and Heidi Patton (James), and grandchildren Victoria Patton (Matt), Alexander Patton, John West IV and Abigail Patton, and her great grandchildren Victoria, Arie and Luca. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Hill (Russ). Diann leaves behind many friends that she loved and cherished.
