Dianna Baxley Obituary

Funeral services for Dianna Baxley, 58, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at Spence Chapel of First Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2006, with Rev. Larry Baxley and Dr. Bob McCartney officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Sulphur Springs, with L.D. Baxley, Kenny Baxter, Joey Baxter, Roy Singleton, Ronny Long, Stewart Long, Sam Baxley, and Art Singleton serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Baxley passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, Sulphur Springs.
She was born in Plainview, Texas, on July 9, 1947, the daughter of Art and Dora (Satchell) Singleton. She married Ray Gene Baxley on July 14, 1967, in Sulphur Springs. He preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Baxley was a retired LVN and member of the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include daughter, Ragina Wubben, of Bettendorf; sons, James Baxley and Billy Baxley, both of Sulphur Springs; stepson, Gene Baxley, of Sulphur Springs; brother, George Singleton, of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Della Clark, of Tyler, Texas, Donna Rogers, of Monterey, La., and Dottie Long, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jordan, Amber, and Kathy Baxley, Ryan, Benjamin, and Ashley Wubben, and Justin and Jordan Andrews; and one great-grandchild, Hailey.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Baxley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Srpings.
