Dick William Ruthven

DICK WILLIAM RUTHVEN Passed away on October 4, 2003 in Sacramento, CA; he was 79 years of age. Born in Los Angles, CA, Dick lived in Fremont, CA for nearly 65 years before moving to Roseville six years age. Dick loyally served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He enjoyed nearly 40 years with the United States Geological Survey as a engineer before retiring in 1985. He loved tennis and woodworking. Missing him greatly is his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda B. Ruthven of Roseville; his daughter, Esta Lynn Ruthven of Bend, OR; his son, Richard D. Ruthven of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Sara and Brian Morris of Bend, OR, Emily, Matthew and Brittany Kirwan all of Los Gatos, Erik Ruthven of Portland, OR, Sean and Tyler Ruthven of Alpharetta, GA; and his brother, Jack Ruthven of Placerville, CA. Dick was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorena Ruthven. At Dick's request there will be no public services.
