decades before I became disabled myself Dick paired me with Achilles members in local races including the NY Marathon after I became involved in fundraising for him having caught his infectious enthusiasm for enabling more disabled people the benefits of running with his club! A kind and generous man I send my sincere condolences to his family from my current base in the British countryside.

An incredible representative and champion for those with disabilities. He worked so hard to give those with disabilities access and athletic opportunities that they so deserved.
