My condolences to the friends and family of the greatest pro athlete in the NBA and as a humanitarian. As he, like many other players and legacies in this world will be missed as he brought out the good in people. As our hearts may seem hollow but will be filled with the love that he gave to everyone as his smiles will be missed and his ability to bring people together will be full of warmth until there is no hollow feeling. He is an amazing man who changed the world with his positive attitude and energy. He will be missed.

Dikembe MUTOMBO was the definition of a gentleman. It´s a term rarely used today but that´s what he was. I will always treasure the memories of hanging out with you ,
your brother Tshibtenge and your best friend Claude during your single days. Your laugh was amazing. It made everyone else laugh. You will truly be missed more than words could ever say.

I met Dikembe and Rose many years ago. Me, Judy Tudy the clown/magician was invited several times to perform for their children and guests. Both Dikembe and Rose treated me with fun and kindness. I remember Rose was going to school to be a nurse. This is a family full of love and generosity.

I met Dikembe at a performance by the African children's choir back in 2017 At the Lovett school. We spoke briefly about our mutual passion for philanthropy and humanitarianism. He was an inspiration for all I aspire to do around the globe. Love & condolences to Rose & the kids. We all will cherish the marks he has left all over the world and the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Dikembe, you were my favorite NBA player. I bought as many trading cards of you as I could. I still have your Jersey from Denver. On tv, I watched all the NBA games that you played in. When Denver came to Charlotte to play, me, my brother and cousin drove to Charlotte (75 miles from home) to see you play. I got 1 pic of you( back then we had the 110 cameras). I was just so glad to have seen you in person.
Mon eve, my brother had txted me and said you died. My heart broke ; I broke down and cried . I'm still having a hard time that you're gone.
I'm going to miss you, Dikembe.

I recall working the celebrity golf tournaments in Atlanta, where Mutombo always greeted me with a big smile. He was incredibly kind, doing so much for me without any obligation. It was truly an honor to know him and his family.

I remember Mr.Mutombo while working at GU. He was the most statuesque man I ever seen in person. He had the most beautiful smile and his laugh was infectious. He noticed that I couldn't believe how tall he was in person. Rest in Power Mr. Mutombo.
