Dilip Vasant Kulkarni

We are saddened to share the passing of Dilip Vasant Kulkarni, born March 19, 1950, and died peacefully in his home on January 6, 2023. Born in Pune, Maharashtra, India to Vasant Kulkarni and Vijaya Kulkarni. The youngest son of 3 siblings, Satish Kulkarni and the late Suniti Honwad. He graduated with a BSc in Agriculture Science from Sir Parashurambhau College in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This year marks his 50th anniversary living in Canada.

Full of life until the day he died, he spent the last years of his life travelling the world from Columbia, to Rwanda, to Peru, to France. He was an active member in the One Tower, Mississauga condominium community, fluent in Spanish, a certified Yoga instructor, a Toastmaster, a winemaker, a former rotary club member, and avid gardener. He impacted many people's lives and will be remembered always for his genuine smile, caring demeanour, and selfless spirit by all those who have crossed paths with him during his long and fulfilling life.

Beloved partner to Juana Duque Camacho. Proud father to his two sons and their wives, Ravi & Allison and Rahul & Ekta. Dependable friend to his former wife, Meera. Brother and gardening partner to Satish. Uncle to his nephews Girish and Sumit. Loving Ajoba to his granddaughters Alina and Seravine.

Dilip's family received relatives and friends at St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5 on Wednesday, January 11th.
