Dillard Stewart Obituary
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 9, 11 a.m. at Overlook Cemetery.
Mr. Stewart was born in Rockingham County, N.C. to the late Maynard and Martha Stewart. He was a World War II Army veteran before joining the Navy for four years. Mr. Stewart was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
Surviving are son, William "Fuzzy'' Stewart of Eden; granddaughter, Lisa Stewart McKinney of Eden; two great-granddaughters, Sydney and Brooke McKinney of Eden; sister, Helen Chilton of Mt. Holley, NJ; special step-grandchild, Dwayne Hinton; special step-great-grandchildren, Candice Hinton, Dustin Hinton, Cody Hinton, Megan Shockley and Calvin Muncy, Jr., all of Eden.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6-8 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home.
