March 27, 2003 - November 18, 2022
Our precious boy died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 18, 2022 from complications from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Burke 2021 graduate. Dillon is survived by his beloved brother, Tyler; mother, Melissa Drickey (Jason) Hansen, father, Jerry (Michelle)Peters, "Yaya" Wendy Fetters, grandfathers, Dennis Peters, and Jim (Diana) Drickey; great-grandmother, Patricia Drickey; his extended family and many good friends.
CELEBRATION of LIFE: Saturday, November 26, 11am at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 15002 Blondo St. Omaha, NE 68116. The service will be livestreamed at https://heartstreaming.link/dillon-james-peters The family asks for everyone to wear blue in Dillon's honor. VISITATION with the family Saturday, 9:45am to 10:45am. In lieu of flowers, send condolences to Covenant Presbyterian Church and/or memorials to be directed by the family.

I was not fortunate to have met Dillon in person, However, I met him through the intense love of his Yaya, my friend. Wendy has always spoken of Dillon and Tyler, in fact all of her grandchildren with extreme care, love and with a sparkle in her eyes.
I am soooo happy that Dillon is now able to do ALL the things that he has wanted to do.
He will not be forgotten as he continues to live in God's Divine Prescence.

To my wonderful cousins.....words cannot express my heartbreak for you Melissa, Tyler and yaya Wendy. I love you all so much Dillon touched so many lives and was a true inspiration for anyone who knew him He was a warrior!!
