On July 6, 2024, I bid farewell to someone dear to me. The void left by their absence is a heavy burden I must carry each day. The absence of their morning greetings, their voice through calls or texts, and our shared celebrations of Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Valentine's Day is unbearable. I will miss their ability to bring laughter with their humor and their kindness in preparing my favorite food, pancakes at any time of day. These seemingly ordinary moments will now hold a special place in my memory.
