Dolis P. Nuckols Obituary
She was born on July 15, 1926, in Botetourt County, to the late Walter Woodrow and Gracie Austin Parker.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Dolis was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Franklin Nuckols, Sr. of Walkers Creek, and a daughter, Anne Nuckols Page of Christiansburg.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd "Frank" Nuckols, Jr. (Brenda} of Walkers Creek and Gary Nuckols (Dora} of Fairfield; one daughter, Candy Widner (Jimmy) of Craigsville; a son-in-law, James C. Page of Christiansburg; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Dolis retired from American Safety Razor in Verona after many years of service.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and caregivers at AVIVA Baldwin Park and Legacy Hospice for their care and compassion.
There will be no service at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
