My heartfelt condolences to the Pontius family. Mrs. Pontius was so much more to me than my next door neighbor. She was, at an impressionable time for this scoundrel, a sincere friend to our whole family. She helped, inspired, & assisted us all. I recall Ms Pontius picking me up in high school, and then taking me to the hospital, when my family could not. She knew I needed guidance, And she was always so kind to give a brief word of encouragement to everyone. It was as if she adopted the whole neighborhood in Montgomery Alabama. Her children portrayed a stoic demeanor that no one else that I knew, had. She is in glory now, and I thank God for the times that I had with all of them. Mrs. Dollie Pontius was and still is our guardian angel transplant from South Korea; who dared to make it all the way to Seminole Drive. We love you.
May Peace be with you all,
Richard Wambsganss

Don and Family. Cheri I want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Dollie was so kind and loving every time we saw her. Her smile and good words were an encouragement and she will be missed by so many. Heaven gained an angel. We will be thinking of you all over theses next few days.
