Dolores K "Dee" Downing

Dee Downing, 82 yrs young, found peace on Oct. 10, 2023 after a brief but strong battle against cancer. She was home surrounded by her beloved pets and daughter by her side.

Dee was the 1st employee for Linde Hydraulics. Starting in payroll and working her way to managing sales and international sales for 37 yrs.

Dee loved all animals, most of all her horse and was involved with the International Side Saddle Organization for many years. Being a champion show rider and honored to ride in an inaugural parade. You could feel their immense bond when you saw them together, exhibiting grace and beauty with every stride.

She loved being outdoors, especially decorating for every holiday. It brought joy to others and she would do anything to help someone smile.

Dee never met a stranger, she had a heart of gold, a laugh and a sense of humor that will be unforgettable.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Jody English, her grandchildren that she loved with all her heart, Jessica Hosey, Joe Hosey and Jason Hosey and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna English (Hosey) and a grandson "Lil" John Hosey.

Dee will be dearly and forever missed by her family and countless friends but none so much as her daughter and partner in shenanigans, Jody.

Per her final wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations will be used to assist with her expenses.
