Dolores Jane HIll

Has it been four years since this lovely lady left us? I have such happy memories of her smile and kindness - and her business acumen - a woman of accomplishment and delight. She is missed.

Every time I pass Hill's Supply in Canal Fulton I am reminded of this amazing lady who could balance home, family, work, and regular choir attendance, always with a smile and word of cheer. May she indeed rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of talking with Deloris, regarding her seasonal cottage up in Canada. Very nice lady, and I am sorry to hear about the news of Dolores passing.

Dolores was a valued choir member some years ago at First Methodist Church in downtown Canton where I was music director. I'll never forget a choir party she sponsored at her home on my wife Kathleen's Dec 1st birthday. She and her second husband H. Doyle Smith were cherished friends. Sorry to be late with this remembrance - I only found out about her passing on Thursday Nov. 3. She was quite a special lady.
