Tomorrow will mark one year since we lost you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Every once in a while I am reminded of something you used to do or say and it brings a smile to my face followed by tears in my eyes because I miss you. So many things have happened and I know you haven't missed them because you are looking down over us, but I still wish you could have been here for all of it. Like Zio Frank said, we were the luckiest people on earth to have you in our lives, but I still wish that we could have had you around a little longer. I love you Papa!

Well Dad, a year has passed and every time I think of you it brings tears to my eyes. The whole family misses you. A year of firsts without you was tough especially through the holidays. I'll never forget our last conversation," DON'T FORGET TO PICK US UP ON THURSDAY AND WHERE DO I WORK ON MONDAY". Just as you told us stories of our great grandparents now its our turn to tell our grandchildren about their Great Grandfather 'Papa' who was the most loving and generous man. I lived on Beech St for about 10 years and rarely did a day go by that I did not see and chat with Mr D'Angelo. In fact the day I moved in, away from home for the first time, he told my mom and dad that he'd keep an eye on me and if I ever needed anything, all I had to do was ask. And he did, questioning some visiting cousins as to who they were and what they were doing at my place!! I suspect this is the type of man he was--taking care of everyone!
