Domiano “Dan” Chillemi, age 68, of Spring Hill, Florida died on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Oak Hill Hospital. Dan was a 12 year resident of Spring Hill coming from Manassas, VA where he lived with his wife and family from 1973 – 2005. Dan was born as the only child, to the late Frank Anthony and Louise Rita (Tartaglia) Chillemi, on February 19, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY. Dan was a veteran of the US Army, and served from 1970-1973, in the ASA (Army Security Agency) Division. Dan retired as a Program Manager in Information Technology, working mostly for Department of Defense computer systems providers. Dan was known as an avid New York Giants and Mets fan, but, mostly as a family guy who loved his family and grandchildren, of whom he adored. Dan was of the Roman Catholic faith. Dan was preceded by both his parents. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 47 years, Victoria (Lent) Chillemi, of Spring Hill, FL, son, Michael Chillemi and his wife Deanna, of Charlotte, NC, son, Thomas Chillemi and his wife Amanda, of Frankford, DE, and daughter, Lisa Caceres and her husband Daniel, of Spring Hill, FL, as well as grandchildren; Domiano Chillemi, Sofia Caceres, Gina Chillemi, Giovanni Caceres, and Brice Chillemi. Funeral arrangements and cremation are entrusted to the Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A memorial Gathering is planned for Monday, November 13, 2017 from 10-11 am, at the Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be held at 11 am with St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church officiating. Military honors and final committal blessings are to be bestowed at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the American Heart Association or Breast Cancer research, in memory of Domiano.

I am so sorry for your loss! Dan was such a great person. I had the pleasure working with him at BRU. Vicky I only meet you once but felt like I knew you, the kids and the grandkids. He talked about you guys so much. So sorry I didn't know earlier of his passing. I would have loved to have given you a hug and been at his service. Your family is in my prayers.

I know how hard it is to lose your dad. Your dad's life was too short, as was mine. Every moment you spent with him will be a memory you'll never forget. Thirty five years after losing my dad, I still think of him often. My heart goes out to you and your entire family.
