My Dad was a UM graduate and started taking me to games when I was 4. Don Bosseler was my first real sports hero. I wore his number. I followed his every move. When as an adult I had the chance to meet him, I told him this. I don't know who was more embarrassed--him or me. He was so charming, so flattered, and so nice to me. It's a special moment that I have always remembered. My condolences to the Bosseler family.

I will always remember Don as a gentleman and how he loved his wife, Marcia! He always remembered who I was, even if he may not have-he never let on. He will be missed dearly.

My heartfelt condolences Marcia. Know my thoughts are with you and your family. I have fond memories of interactions with Don when I'd pick you up to go to one of our science events. His love for you was always so evident!
