Prof. Iodice taught me French from 1984 to 1988. He pushed us to do well, and I so very much appreciate his influence in my life.
He always played the Pink Panther theme before oral lab exams, and to this day I think of him when I hear that theme! May he Rest In Peace.

My French class with Professor Iodice in 1984 literally changed the course of my life. He encouraged me to spend my summer in France and showed me how I could actually do it on a student's budget. I initially had no plans to make a career of French, but after that initial visit, many more followed, It was a total game changer for me from then on in so many respects.

I am comforted to know that Professor Iodice died peacefully in his sleep after a long life. He was a devoted teacher who demanded a lot from his students and for that I am very grateful.

Condolences to the family. In 1981 Professor Don Iodice was my Broadcast Announcing instructor at Oakland University. He taught me how to be an effective, professional broadcaster and a competent, engaging public speaker. I use the lessons he taught me in the lab and in the classroom every day. Along with my faculty advisor Dr. Donald Hildum, I owe both of these great educators a huge debt of gratitude. In my eyes they were giants in the field of communications. I wish our paths would have crossed at least once after graduation so I could have properly thanked both of these great men for teaching me so much so well.
