Lunghi, Donald, Late of Millbrae and Daly City, entered into rest in South San Francisco on August 27, 2018.Loving father of Janice Callan, Don Lunghi, and Amber Lunghi.
Cherished grandfather of Bethany, Tina, and Nicki.
A native of Daly City, California, age 86 years. A graduate of the Jefferson High School Class of 1950, entered in the 50 Year Hall of Fame for Football and Baseball in 1995. He was a Founder member of the San Francisco Flower Market. He was the Crossing Guard for the St. Roberts Catholic School in San Bruno for over 10 years, named National Crossing Guard of the Year. For twenty years, he was a bartender at the Fisherman's Restaurant in Burlingame.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Italian Cemetery in Colma. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday after 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS.
His family appreciates donations to San Francisco Giants Junior Giants Foundation, Giants Community Fund, AT&T Park - 24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94107.
