To the King of the Carribean, we celibrate your life, your brilliant achievements, your modest easy going ways. Your flame will never die, but will burn bright in all of us.

Don, a great inspiration to all that knew him and he has left behind a legacy for all to enjoy, my thoughts are with his family at this time.

Lillian, Ailsa, Nick and Lizzie. We were vey sad to hear of Don's death. Not only was he a fantastic photo journalist, he was a remarkable, yet quiet man. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time, it was an honour to have known Don.

I met Don in the early 80's at a Morris Minor meeting in Hale Barns. We both owned Morris Minor convertibles and both lived in Poynton ! We spent many summer weekends at car rallies. In the late 80's , by coincidence, I bought a house in the same road as Don and Lil. Don was the most unassuming person you could ever meet, quiet and totally sincere. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Dear Lilian and family, my condolences to you.
Don was a truly good friend and colleague, as a young photographer I was greatly inspired by Don's work and in recent years have many happy memories of time shared on the RPS distinctions panel. He will be remembered not only for being a great photographer but as a remarkable man an example to us all.

To Lilian and Ailsa, you are in my thoughts and prayers, at this sad time as Dons physical suffering ends and you have to endure the pain of loss. Love never dies. xx
