Don Murray was an actor nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962) film "Bus Stop," and unwilling to be typecast as a tough guy, he went on to more eclectic roles.

My first memory was he playing Governor Breck in the Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. He was fabulous and followed his career ever since. I was not really familiar with until the 1970 s when I was a teenager. A real credit to his profession.
