Don Rohr Obituary
Joseph Donald Rohr passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, at his home in Blanchard, Oklahoma at the age of 83. The son of Joseph and Bessie (Lollis) Rohr, Don was born on October 12, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Don married Mary Barker on August 15, 1972, in Gainesville, Texas, and would spend the next 49 years together.
Don was an Oklahoma City firefighter for 25 years. He was also a drag boat racer, bulldogger, roper, and avid golfer. He volunteered his time to deliver Meals on Wheels and was a longtime member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma.
Don is survived by daughters, Tonda Collins and Isa Rohr; son, Shane Rohr and wife Dena; 6 grandchildren, Tiya, Cody, Dallas, Paige, Lara, and Dalton; 9 great-grandchildren, Cody Jr., Tembre, Jentri, Tennessee, Jaxson, Makenzie, Linlee, Emrie and Charlee; brother, Mike Rohr and wife Carrie; sister, Ann Ziese and husband Richard; and many other loving family members.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents, and his sister, Betty Hogard.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 313 South Highway 76, in Newcastle. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, OK. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. As a retired Firefighter I have many fond memories of Don and knowing he suffered in the last days, he is in a better place where there is no pain or suffering. Tommy Chism Sr.

So sorry for your loss. We have a lot of good memories hanging out with the Rohr Family. The Ropings, Rodeos and our camping trip to Blue River. You could always count on a good time and lots of laughs when you were around Don. He will be missed. The John Davis Family.
