Don Trumbull

TRUMBULL James D. "Don" Don Trumbull, 94, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born in Adrian, MI on June 19, 1914 to James Oliver and Mabel (Donze) Trumbull and had served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Don was married to Hazel Schmidt for over 40 years and had worked in substation maintenance for Toledo Edison retiring in 1979 after 30 years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Terrie M. Trumbull; son, James J. Trumbull; brother, John Trumbull; sister-in-law, Katherine Nihiser; along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; parents, James Oliver and Mabel; sister, Betty and brothers, Charles "Pete" and Robert "Lee". In honoring Don's wishes there will be no visitation and memorial services will be private.
