Don Walsh

I knew Don at USC Sea Grant office Director in 1974 when and his friend Don Keach set up their ocean and coastal research center. He was my friend and confidant and encouraged me to accept the position of Maritime Counsel to the US House of Reps. I last spoke with him in 2021 when he was planning his last round the world voyage as oceanographer lecturer.
